2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights. It applies to Pixelmost on macOS, iOS, and related backend services.

4. App Permissions

Depending on features you use, Pixelmost may request OS-level permissions (for example Photos, Camera, Microphone, Contacts, or Location). These permissions are optional and controlled by your device settings.

6. AI Data Sharing and Consent

Pixelmost asks for your permission before personal data is shared with third-party AI providers. If you do not allow this, AI requests are not sent.

When you use AI features, data sent may include your prompt text, optional attached images/files, and optional app/page context that you choose to share for better results.

Third-party AI providers currently used: OpenAI, LLC and Google LLC (Google AI).

Please avoid sharing sensitive personal data in prompts unless necessary. AI providers may process data under their own terms and retention policies.

7. Sharing of Personal Data

We share data only where needed for service delivery, legal compliance, or security. Recipients may include:

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in countries that may not provide the same legal protections. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), plus supplementary measures where relevant.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including service delivery, legal compliance, security, dispute handling, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods depend on data category and operational needs.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where feasible. Some data may remain in backups for limited periods.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

US State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain uses. As of this policy date, Pixelmost does not sell personal data and does not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How to Exercise Rights

Contact us at hello@pixelmost.ai. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You can also revoke AI consent in-app where available and request account/data deletion through support.

11. Whether Providing Data Is Required

Some data is required to create an account and provide core functionality (for example login credentials and account identifiers). If required data is not provided, some services may be unavailable. Optional data (for example optional AI attachments) is voluntary.

Pixelmost does not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

13. Children

Pixelmost is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we learn that personal data from a child was collected unlawfully, we will delete it.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or other appropriate channels. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest version.
